Slab Pots by Rebecca Dinar

The artist works out of a 75 year old co-op studio near the Evergaldes in Florida that has always been solely operated by women volunteers.

The pots are hand built. After rolling out slabs of clay the artist constructs each bowl by hand, adding underglaze colors and then carving patterns using a process called Sgraffitto. The pieces are then fired for 24 hours in a gas kiln.

All the pots are food safe.
